Location: Tanjong Chek Jawa, off the eastern tip of Pulau Ulbin
Attraction: The mud and sand blooms with sea creatures such as starfish, sea anemone , sea cucumber, sand dollar, sea hares and even horseshoe crab. Four species of seagrasses and 10 species of sponges. A mangrove fringes one side of the flat land and a rocky beach on the other. The mangrove features bakau trees and nipah (attap plams), while the rocky shore sprouts rarities such as the seashore nutmeg and the sea olive.

Two species of sea anemone can be found here. The carpet anemone looks like a gigantic flower, while the tube anemone has white tentacles. Sticky to the touch, these carnivores have a central mouth and tentacles that hold fast onto marine life when they are threatened.
